A man has died in a workplace accident in county Longford.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene following a report of an accident in the Ballinalee area at around 11.50am on Thursday.
A man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was removed to Mullingar Regional Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
A file will also be prepared for the Coroner.
