A Longford woman has raised awareness about Huntington's Disease. Pauline Doran spoke to the Joe Finnegan Show this morning to highlight how the disease has affected her family.
Huntington's Disease is an inherited disorder that causes nerve cells in parts of the brain to gradually break down and die. Pauline's husband John suffered from the illness and her eldest son Joe has also inherited Huntingtons. She told the Joe Finnegan show it was important to raise the issue:
