Longford student Eric Ehigie will co-host a special event organised by the Ombudsman for Children's Office today called Child Talks 2020 to mark World Children's Day.
The 18 year old was a speaker at the event last year and impressed the audience so much that he was asked to help host this year's talk's event.
The aim of Child Talks is to provide children and young people with a platform to share their stories and vision and this year's theme is " A Day in the Life" asking the entrants to identify a day that may have changed how they look at the world, or when they found their voice.
Eric Ehigie says he's delighted to have been asked to co-host the event and even if it has to be held online because of the pandemic, he says he's sure anyone who logs on won't be disappointed.
Anyone who wants to watch the event is invited to log on to oco.ie at 11 o' clock this morning.
