The Latin School in Moyne on the Longford/Cavan border will play host today to a special Spanish inspired flower festival.
Raquel Montera who's an artist from Cordoba says she had the idea to celebrate her hometown festival in north Longford when she saw the beauty of the Latin school building.
The Patios de Cordoba celebrates the courtyards of the Spanish city each year, and people decorate their open spaces with arrays of flowers and accessories for the event.
People in different community groups in north Longford have been helping Raquel prepare for the Longford Flower Festival for the past month.
It runs from 12 until 5 today and it'll also feature craft and food stalls.
