Roscommon principal says new classroom will allow move from activities in corridor

A principal of a Roscommon school says they look forward to being able to move from working in a corridor to a classroom with the provision of new accommodation.

The Department of Education has approved additional funding has been approved for Tarmon National School in Castlerea .

According to Fianna Fail Senator Eugene Murphy it will provide for two additional mainstream classrooms, one SEN base, and one Early Intervention Unit.

Speaking on Let's Talk today principal Kieran Dowd says they have always worked with what they could to allow students get access special education but the extra space will be a huge boost.
