New Cathaoirleach of the Boyle Municipal District is hopeful that all major projects will still go ahead

The new Cathaoirleach of the Boyle Municipal District is hoping that all major projects in the area will proceed despite the setbacks arising out of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Fine Gael’s Liam Callaghan was elected unopposed to the position this week, succeeding councillor Joe Murphy.

The new leas Cathaoirleach is Tarmonbarry independent councillor Tom Crosby.

In the Roscommon Municipal District, councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice succeeds Orla Leyden as Chair with councillor Anthony Waldron taking the Vice Chair position.

Councillor Liam Callaghan says he hopes the collaboration with town teams in the major towns and local tourist attractions will deliver for the area in the coming year.
