A local senator says she would like to see more people move to the west of Ireland. According to new figures from the CSO, the first six months of 2024 have seen over 800 homes sold on the market in the Shannonside region.
Of these sales, 148 homes were purchased by a first time buyer or buyers in the region. Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Fine Gael Senator Aisling Dolan says she wants to see people have the choice to live in the west:
