Just under 100 people are waiting for admission to hospitals in the Shannonside region.

90 people are currently waiting on trolleys across the Shannonside Northern Sound Region.

Today's figures from the INMO show many local hospitals are dealing with significant surges in patients waiting for beds.

University Hospital Galway has the highest figure today with 30 people waiting on a bed, one of which is under 16 years of age.
