Four regional hospitals have been omitted from crisis supports out-of-hours in emergency departments
The Department of Health has announced the commencement of recruitment for 10 specialist crisis nursing teams.
However, Sligo, Mullingar, Portiuncula and Roscommon Hospitals are not included in the rollout.

The posts are being introduced in response to evidence that many self-harm and suicidal ideation presentations occur during the evening and overnight hours, when additional specialist support is needed.
