Local Criminal barristers are withdrawing services around the country again today in a row over fees. They say there's been no commitment to a timeline - despite a Government report as far back as 2018 stating fee restoration was justified.
Walk outs are taking place in at Longford Court house today as well as the Four Courts in Dublin and courts in Carlow, Clare, Donegal, Kildare, Tipperary and Sligo. Seán Guerin, Senior Counsel, and Chair of the Criminal State Bar Committee they've been left with no other choice:
