For many older people living across the Shannonside region, the prospect of a vaccine is the only hope of getting to see their loved ones again, especially if they don't have any family living close by.

This third lockdown has been very tough on many people, Margaret Kelly lives in Fenagh, county Leitrim with her husband Tony.

She turns 75 next week and has been speaking to MaryClaire Grealy about how she is getting by and why she's struggling to be optimistic about the life she once had returning any time soon.
