Leitrim County Council has been approved to take part in a European research project which will examine the impact, resilience, and responses to the Covid pandemic.
The council will work in conjunction with agencies from Scotland, Northern Ireland, Denmark and Finland on the project.
The study is structured into 4 separate areas and Leitrim Council will concentrate on the community response section.

Suzanne Duffy who works in the Community Development Section with Leitrim Council says they are happy to have been chosen to take part in the project.
She says they'll be asking for community group's co-operation and feedback as part of the research.
