Leitrim County Council has published the first tender for the planned Junction Project in Ballinamore.
The development will see work carried out at two protected structures - including the coach workshop as well as at the old railway station building.
The plans will also see a new enterprise centre and artist workshop as well as ancillary accommodation and a new civic plaza developed in the south Leitrim town.
The tendering process is split into two different parts - with the opening process to find contractors based on quality and relevant experience with the stage two the actual tendering from suitable interested parties.
Mairin Martin, Chairperson of Ballinamore Area Community Council says after a long process it's good to progress on the much needed project.
