It comes as the 2022 Pobal HP Deprivation Index releases its data for each county across the nation.
The Index uses data from Census 2022 to analyse the level of disadvantaged areas across the country.
According to the report, 163 areas in Leitrim were deemed to be below the standards of educational attainment and employment status.

Meanwhile in Longford, the index identified 177 areas currently experiencing significant levels of disadvantage.
The report aims to analyse zones around the country in order to develop a detailed map of their relative affluence and disadvantage.
The map will allow the government to localise support for struggling communities.
