The number of people receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the Shannonside region grew by over two-hundred-and fifty in the last week.

New figures from the government show that over 7800 people received the PUP in the Shannonside region last week.

The total of 7,814 is reflected in an increase of 99 in Roscommon, 97 in Longford and 59 in Leitrim.
