High numbers of people waiting on trolleys at Sligo hospital today

Sligo hospital has a high number of people waiting for admission today with a total of 23 people on trolleys.

There were 12 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department this morning with another 11 on trolleys in other wards.

It's the second highest amount of people on trolleys at a hospital nationwide today, with 51 people waiting at University Hospital Limerick.

All of the other hospitals across the region at Cavan, Mullingar, Tullamore, Drogheda, and Ballinasloe had 10 or less people waiting on trolleys so far today.
