Grass not being cut in some Carrick council estates - Cllr Flynn

Cllr Flynn says it affected children's enjoyment during the hot weather last week.

Children can't play on the greens in some council estates in Carrick-on-Shannon because of a lack of grass-cutting.

That's according to local Sinn Féin councillor Cormac Flynn.

He says the grass is normally cut by the council, but there's been a drop in upkeep and maintenance this year.
