Gardai in the Granard area have conducted over 80 searches of people and properties so far this year as part of their work into the sale and supply of drugs in the district.
Superintendent Seamus Boyle gave details of work undertaken by local garda and the divisional drugs unit into combating drugs activity.
With 84 searches undertaken up to the end of November, gardai say it's their intention to maintain a target of two operations a week.
