GoFundMe Launched to Support Young Leitrim Boy With Rare Condition

Oscar's mum Clare Lawlor Lynch said that during a routine scan at 18 weeks it was discovered her unborn son had Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support a young Leitrim boy who was diagnosed with a rare birth condition.

Oscar's mum Clare Lawlor Lynch said that during a routine scan at 18 weeks it was discovered her unborn son had Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.

To give Oscar the best chance of survival, she flew to Belgium for fetal surgery.

Oscar was born at 34 weeks at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin before undergoing a major operation at just one week old.
