Global Rossie Day set to take centre stage next month

The Council say, since the pandemic, there's been an increase in people moving to the area, mainly because of remote working hubs.

Roscommon County Council has launched a campaign to promote itself as a place to work and live. The Council say, since the pandemic, there's been an increase in people moving to the area, mainly because of remote working hubs.

As part of the Roscommon Bound campaign, Global Rossie Day will take place on the 22nd of September which will celebrate the counties heritage. Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council, Paschal Fitzmaurice says he hopes Global Rossie Day will be a great celebration of the county:
