Gardai in Carrick on Shannon are investigating a burglary at a house in the Kilclar area during daylights hours yesterday.
It's understood a significant amount of cash was taken in the incident.
Gardai are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the Kilclar area yesterday to contact them at Carrick-on-Shannon garda station.
