Pamela Anderson has written to the Taoiseach asking him to ban hare coursing in Ireland.
The former Baywatch star told Micheál Martin that the "reckless and cruel" practice is "at odds with the warmth and goodwill" Ireland is known for around the world.
Hare coursing is already banned in the UK and the Dáil debated an Irish ban earlier this year.

Anderson has previously written to both Enda Kenny and Leo Varadkar calling for bans on fur farming and wild animal circuses.
