A pedestrian's been killed after being hit by a car in County Roscommon.
The woman in her 50s was knocked down on the N5 on the Strokestown side of Scramogue Cross at around half 5 this evening.
Her body's been removed to University Hospital Roscommon where a post mortem will be carried out.

A woman in her 60s who was driving the car hasn't been injured.
The road is closed and it will be mid morning before it's reopened - local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
