Expansion for Roscommon company following acquisition

The acquisition of Roscommon town hygiene supplies company will mean greater investment and expansion.

That's according to Vincent Collins who founded Service Matters in 1997, which has been acquired by German firm CWS.

Service Matters employs 88 people, and supplies floorcare and workcare rental, washroom services and bespoke protective clothing across many industries.

As well as its base in Roscommon it has depots in Limerick, Dublin and Tyrone.

CWS has acquired a majority stake in the company in what's estimated to be a multi-million euro deal.

Vincent Collins will remain with the business - he says it's a positive development.
