Gardai and emergency services are attending the scene of a serious crash on the N5 Strokestown to Tarmonbarry road.
While the road remains open for now with delays, it may be closed later.
A two car collision has resulted in the N55 road at Glasson to be closed, one person has been taken to hospital.

Gardai in Carrick on Shannon say a number of cars have left the road on the Carrick to Boyle stretch and the N4 between Jamestown and Carrick on Shannon is very dangerous.
