Gardaí in Longford yesterday stopped a car traveling 98km per hour in a 50km zone close to a primary school.
The incident occurred at around 11 am on Tuesday morning on the R397.
The driver was found to have no insurance and tested positive in a roadside drugs test for cocaine and heroin.

Gardaí have confirmed that the driver was arrested and court proceedings will follow.
