The Dail has heard that it will cost almost €600,000 in order to restore full services and supports at a centre for people with disabilities in Longford.
According to Longford TD Joe Flaherty, 12 daycare staff at St Christopher's have been redeployed as a result of the pandemic.
He also stated that up to 20 staff have left in the last year to find work elsewhere as a result of the impasse on providing pay increases for section 39 employees.

Deputy Flaherty outlined that the government needs to find money to be able to pay for extra staff at the facility in order to restore full services.
