Concerted effort to close Lanesborough GP practice by stealth, Seanad told

The Seanad has been told there's a 'concerted effort' to close a Lanesborough GP practice 'by stealth'.

Joe Flaherty says Dr Ali retired recently after serving Lanesborough and Longford town for many years.

His practice was then taken over by another GP, serving both locations.

Senator Flaherty raised the issue under parliamentary privilege in the Seanad:
