The Chief Medical Officer says 'very significant harm' has been done to women affected by the CervicalCheck scandal.

He says there were findings of 'substantial wrong' in the failure to share information with them.

It comes after 32 year-old Lynsey Bennett who is seriously ill with cervical cancer, settled her case with the HSE on Wednesday.
