Over €294,000 worth of drugs has been seized by Revenue in Athlone.
The discovery was made yesterday by officers examining parcels from Spain and the Netherlands at a premises in the town.
Over 15KG of illegal drugs, including herbal cannabis and 3-chloro-meth-cathinone crystals, were discovered concealed in parcels labelled as shoe boxes and coffee bean bags.

The drugs were destined for addresses in Louth, Wexford and Limerick, with investigations ongoing into those involved.
