A Longford councillor says holiday resort Center Parcs has brought 'huge benefits' to the county.
It comes as the facility recorded average weekly revenues of more than €2 million this year.
New accounts from Center Parcs Ireland Ltd revealed that revenue at the Ballymahon-based holiday resort increased by 4-point-45 percent.
That's an increase from €101 million to €105.5 million in the 12 months to the end of April 23rd this year.
The Ballymahon-based resort employs over 1,200 people.
