C&D Foods places multi-million euro contract with Donegal packaging firm

Longford based pet food company C&D Foods has placed a multi-year €40 million euro contract in a Donegal-based packaging company.

C&D Foods in Edgeworthstown is one of the largest pet food manufactures in Europe and is owned now by ABP.

It employs 452 people in Ireland and a further 1148 across Europe.

The managing director of C&D Colm Dore says the partnership with Donegal company ProAmpacs showcases a commitment to sustainable practices in packaging, and will allow the company's product line to grow in the coming years.
