Athlone Chamber to carry out feasability study on co-working hub

The President of Athlone Chamber of Commerce says they believe a co-working hub will be a major asset to the town if it gets

The President of Athlone Chamber of Commerce says they believe a co-working hub will be a major asset to the town if it gets the go-ahead under the Just Transition Fund.

The Chamber has been given the green light to begin a feasibility study on a hub in the town and Alan Shaw says they're delighted to have been successful in their initial application.

Athlone Chamber has been working for some months with IDA, Enterprise Ireland a private business in an effort to secure funding for the project.

Alan Shaw says a co-working hub in Athlone would serve two different needs that arise in the region.
