A massive expansion of a Longford food tech business will see 130,000 students across the country gain access to hot nutritional meals. School meals provider, Food Village, has invested 3 million euro in a production facility on the Athlone Road in Longford town.
Its set to add 200 jobs to the county at the state of the art facility in Master tech business park. Food village COO Joe Kavanagh says the Longford facility is one of the most state of the art food tech factories in the country:
