Over 130 adults across the Shannonside region were living in emergency accommodation in October.
The figure was revealed in the Department of Housing's monthly report.
The report shows 135 adults across the Shannonside region were accessing emergency accommodation last month.

This includes 74 across Co. Westmeath, 26 in Co. Longford, 19 in Co. Roscommon, and 16 in Co. Leitrim.
Nationally, a total of 16,766 people were homeless -- 5,274 of these were children.
This represents an increase of 152 from September and a 13.5 per cent increase since November 2024
