Over 10 million euro in funding has been announced for urban regeneration projects in Longford Town.
The funding, which has been announced this morning, has been allocated from the Department of Housing, planning and Local Government under the Urban regeneration development fund.
Under the plan, old and derelict buildings across the town and Camlin Quarter will be refurbished, including the prominent Providers building on the main street of the town.
The funding is designed to provide economic stimulus and job creation here and across Longford.
