A fundraiser is taking place in Co Leitrim on Thursday night in aid of a conflict-resolution organisation founded by a Roscommon priest.
Fr Padraig Devine, from the Society of Africa Missions, has been living in east Africa for 36 years.
He founded the Shalom Center for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation, which has its headquarters in Kenya, where he lives.

A fundraiser for the organisation is taking place in Cox's Steakhouse in Dromod on Thursday night from 8pm, with music from Shaun O'Dowd.
