Two local Garda appointments have been confirmed in the latest round of Garda Appointments and Allocations.
Superintendent Patrick McGirl has been assigned to Roscommon Garda Station, where he will oversee the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Performance Assurance Functional Area.
Superintendent Tomas Waters has been appointed to Longford Garda Station with responsibility for the Longford Community Engagement Functional Area.
