A Longford parish owes around €125,000 in debt, which it's trying to clear.
The parish of Ardagh, Moydow, Ballycloughan and Legan owed over €300,000 euro seven years ago.
It was after work was carried out of Ardagh and Moydow churches and Ardagh's parochial house.

The parish is holding a fundraising concert in St Brigid’s Church, Ardagh, on Sunday at 8 o'clock, starring Simon Casey.
It's in aid of parish funds.
