The Shannonside region has been issued with a status yellow rain and snow warning.
It's in effect in Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan and Donegal from midnight tonight for 24 hours, while Cork and Kerry face a yellow alert for rain.
The entire country will be under a Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning from 9pm tonight until 10am tomorrow morning.
