Works on new walkway between Ennybegs and Clontumpher school to get underway

Significant road works are due to start in the coming days to prepare for a new walkway between Ennybegs and Clontumpher National School.

The works will take place on the L-1040 between Ennybegs village and the national school at Clontumpher.

The works will involve the installation of lighting and drainage along the route as well as site clearance.

Longford County Council says this initial phase of works are likely to be in place until around Easter time.
