Construction work is expected to start next month on a large social housing development, with over 50 homes, in south Roscommon.
Roscommon County Council has also given an update on other housing projects.
The planning go-ahead was given last year for 51 homes at Sli an Choiste in Monksland.
Roscommon County Council says the tender assessment is now complete.
Work is due to get under way by the end of next month.
Meanwhile, the council says construction work is now complete on 16 houses in Curlew View in Boyle, with final stags being done.
The council is also bringing 15 derelict houses in Shannon Valley, Ballaghaderreen, back into use for social housing.
