The woman in her 80s who died in a crash in Co Roscommon yesterday has been named locally as Geraldine Gannon, from Oakfield, Strokestown.
She was a passenger in an SUV that collided with a truck on the N5 at Scramogue at around 5pm.
The driver of the SUV - a woman aged in her 70s - was airlifted to hospital in Galway and is being treated for serious injuries.
