Woman who died in Ballaghaderreen house fire named

The woman who died following a house fire in Ballaghaderreen has been named locally as Vivien Doohan.

The alarm was raised shortly after 9 o'clock on Sunday night, and the body of the pensioner was discovered at the scene of her home in the Priory Park area of the town. Emergency services, including the local fire brigade from Ballaghaderreen attended.

Mrs. Doohan's funeral arrangements will be announced later.
