A woman has lost her life in a crash in County Clare.
A man is in custody in connection with the collision.
This single car crash happened in Lahinch at twenty to 7 yesterday evening.
The woman who died was a passenger in the car which crashed.
She was in her 30s and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was seriously injured.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is still being questioned this morning at Ennis Garda Station.
The scene was sealed off for a technical examination overnight by forensic collision investigators.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
