A woman in her 40s and a teenage girl have been charged as part of investigations into a serious assault in Tipperary last Saturday.
Scarlett Faulkner was attacked on the R494 near Birdhill village shortly after 5:30 that evening, and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The woman and teenage girl are expected to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court at about 5pm today.
Investigations are ongoing.
