The Irish Hot Air Balloon Championships did not go ahead as planned in Boyle today because of high winds.
The event was due to get under way in Lough Key Forest Park this evening, with hundreds of people gathering in anticipation of around 20 balloons taking to the sky in north Roscommon.
But the organisers said it was too windy.
However, conditions look positive from Monday on at least.
Two flights per day - at 7am and 5pm - are planned between tomorrow and next Friday. Event director Frank Meldon told Eoghan Murphy a decision will be made on tomorrow's 7am flight shortly before the planned take-off time:
