The Gallery Café at the Hazelwood Shopping Centre in Longford town is to close permanently tomorrow.
In a post on its Facebook page the café operator says the past two years have been extremely difficult both professionally and personally, and the decision to close has been made with a heavy heart.
The post also thanks the Davis family for their understanding and support, and the staff for their work and loyalty.

The Gallery Café has been in operation for the past 16 years at the shopping centre which is also home to Supervalu.
Shocked customers have been posting testimonials to the café on its Facebook page since the announcement this morning.
