A local Fianna Fáil senator is calling for a mini-budget to deal with the fuel crisis.
Joe Flaherty applauded farmers for their recent protests - and apologised to them for 'what they had to do'.
He criticised the government, saying they didn't react effectively 'in real time' to the fuel crisis.
