There are major tailbacks in Carrick-on-Shannon this evening.
Several tractors have been circling the town all day, in a protest over fuel prices.
They have been driving from Cortober to the Tesco supermarket since 7am.
John Boyd is one of those driving a tractor round the town, as he told Eoghan Murphy:
Meanwhile, there are significant fuel shortages in some filling stations in Longford town, with some out of petrol or diesel, while other stations are very busy, as people seek to fill up before supply runs out.
